Kapil Sharma is bringing back his show “The Great Indian Kapil Show” with his same old team. On September 14, 2024, Netflix India launched the official trailer of the show, in which Kapil and Archana Puran Singh can be seen alongside the same team.

Season 2 of The Great Indian Kapil Show will begin on September 21st at 8 PM (IST). In the trailer, several star cast members such as Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Rohit Sharma, Surya Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Janhvi Kapoor, and Jr. NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao) are featured.
Kapil started “Comedy Nights with Kapil” in 2013 under his banner K9 Productions on Colors TV, which ran until 2016. After that, Kapil Sharma launched his show “The Kapil Sharma Show” on Sony TV in 2016. However, in 2017, he had to stop the show due to health issues caused by overwork. In March 2018, Kapil launched a new show, Family Time With Kapil Sharma, but it was discontinued after just three episodes.
In November 2023, Netflix started airing Kapil Sharma’s show on its platform, which had a total of 13 episodes. Now, Netflix is bringing season 2 of “The Great Indian Kapil Show,” where the cast remains the same, but we might see different characters. Additionally, this season might feature Sunil Grover’s famous character, “Gutthi.”
