Vultures Volume 1 Tracklist
Tell me more about the “album” Vultures Volume 1″?
In June 2023, during a hiatus from social media, frequent collaborators Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign were spotted together in Japan recording music. While it was initially intended for Ye’s eleventh studio album, Vultures was the product instead.
The album’s existence was revealed on October 5, 2023, when Ty Dolla $ign wiped his Instagram account’s posts and uploaded a distorted white screen to his Instagram Story that read “¥ $.”
Following the lead single’s release, on December 8, 2023, Ty Dolla $ign uploaded the album’s tracklist to Instagram. Three days later, Ye announced the title and December 15 release date. On December 12, the Vultures Rave was held, however, many technical issues were prominent, among songs being unfinished.
Lacking clearances on features and a complete mix, Vultures was pushed back to December 31, 2023. The date didn’t stick and was delayed to January 12, 2024, then January 19, to the final February 9 release seen on iTunes.
Corroborating iTunes‘ release date, Ye uploaded the album’s trailer to Instagram. It set another two volumes of the album to release, on March 8 and April 5 respectively.Edit
